| ARA sign a strategic alliance with Nissetsu to expand in the Japanese ITM market. |

Nihon Densan Setsubi Co., Ltd.(or Nissetsu) became a distributor of ARA Networks' Jaguar Cache Solutions and ARA-SmartSwitch. Nissetsu is a 25 years old medium-size system integrator based in Tokyo, Japan. It has branches all over Japan, and plan to deploy ARA Networks' products as the Japanese broadband market expands in 2003. With this agreement, ARA Networks obtains another solid technical partner to aggressively penetrate the Japanese market.
