ARA Network Technologies has released FlashSurfer, a cache product that yields performance comparable to hardware-type cache at an affordable cost for personal or small LAN environment.
ARA Network Technologies P2P based Web cache product (Patent Pending) is the world's first of its kind.
FlashSurfer introduces sharing browser caches technique. One can use browser caches of other PCs on the same LAN. This improves Web surfing speed for users as cache servers do. For user convenience, diverse features such as pre-fetching documents linked to a Web page being searched upon to browser cache, deleting useless files, refreshing Web documents with the latest content are provided.
FlashSurfer provides outstanding cache performance at a quite affordable cost in addition to convenience of use. Thus, it is expected to an alternative to low-end cache servers in game rooms, Cyber-apartments or small LAN environment cache markets.
