ARA Network Technologies has released its streaming media cache entitled JAGUAR/MediaFlow for the first time in the nation. Currently, only 4 to 5 of the world's top cache vendors have released streaming media cache.
JAGUAR/MediaFlow is a cache server that supports streaming media which has become a hot item lately. Frequently-asked data is stored close to the client. The stored data, rather than that of origin server, is provided as client requests, thus enabling a more reliable and high-quality streaming media service to the client. Streaming media environments can be optimized with the integration of SmartDNS, a load balancing solution from ARA Network Technologies.
JAGUAR/MediaFlow supports WMT of Microsoft and is set to release a product that supports RealG2 of Real Networks in the first half of this year, thus channeling most streaming traffic efficiently. It also provides splitting, multicasting features for live streaming and caching for on-demand streaming. These features provide the most for the least data delivery. Thus, CPs (Content providers) such as Internet broadcasting companies, and motion picture ad. providers are expected to improve their streaming service significantly with JAGUAR/MediaFlow.
