| Overview |
| Samsung Electronics is one of company which is
sensitive about internal network security. They
were put an IPS in to their network to block ports
for unnecessary Internet use. However, Web site
access is essential service for business. So, Network
administrator can't block 80port for employees'
Web site access. At least, he thought that he could
block the Instant Messenger (MSN, Yahoo) and P2P
applications with port. |

| Blocking port is not the proper solution to limit
employees' Internet use. Proxy detour can be used
for blocked Web site access and Instant Messenger.
P2P application uses random port. Samsung's network
administrator found out lots of unidentified traffic
passing through 80 port. He needed to know what
kind of traffic was. |

ARA-TS installed their network and they found
out various types of traffic such as P2P and Messenger
passing through 80 port. Some messenger users were
using Tunneling program to avoid detection of ARA-TS.
However, without an exception, ARA-TS detects and
blocks it.
Basically, ARA-TS provides the management program,
so network administrator can operate ARA-TS easily
and efficiently. In addition, ARA-TS supports online
update, so ARA Networks can efficiently response
to customers' request. |

in Web mail. There is no solution which can provide their
requirement. Only ARA-TS can support functions they want.
